if you don't plan on replacing a water pump (at worst) or doing the repair yourself while it's under warranty, then leave that as-is and take it to the dealer. If you wash it off and its a dribble, you're going to be coming home with a new hose clamp on your first visit, or something like that.
leave the severe mess in place.
