Sorry I never came back to this to post a conclusion. I know that’s a no-no on these “help me because...” threads.

I had forgotten that I had put a bottle of Ceratec in the oil after an oil change. That stuff has a creamy orange color to it which is why my oil looked a little milky. So thankfully no cause for alarm in my situation.
