Anything that is just tapped can be removed. Anything that is cut and wired through the remote will need to be reconnected.

The OEM remote receiver is actually in the hatch, and *should* work if you get the right remotes and programming procedure.

I did some investigating and found the aftermarket receiver/alarm box (pic attached). The harness looks factory to me but IDK where it would connect originally. If the harness is aftermarket where would it be spliced into?

There was no factory security box under my seat. I will check the rear hatch now, but the dealer confirmed that it was installed.

How can I ditch this aftermarket system and go back to OEM?
