I just bought a TRD Off-road immediately before the Bronco release if that tells you what I think of the viability of the Bronco as an alternative to the 4R. I owned a 1991 full size Bronco but that was a TRUCK and it was made for a very different market than the new Bronco. The new Bronco will be made to compete with the Wrangler and as such, it will be designed for weekend trips to Costco for buyers that want to be able to remove their roof and accessorize their vehicle for social media posts. I’ll take my 4R and the reliability it affords.
