Bummer... I just saw this post as I am trying to decide what to do about the tires on my '98 4Runner.
Pathfinder tires on the vehicle when I purchased it (also has aftermarket wheels) and they have plenty of tread left..., but absolutely cannot get them balanced. I have taken them 5 different places to try and get them balanced out, but even though the shops say they are well balanced, they jiggle down the road.
Now two shops did mention that one of the tires had a "hard" spot which could make that tire "hop." I am not sure if that is enough to make the whole driving experience non-enjoyable or not.
I see I missed out on your tire sale... do you have any suggestions for me?
