Try to track down the squeak by having someone rock the car for you. Too many places for a "squeak" to come from.

I had a squeak coming from to top of my front shock tower. The stem was interfering with the top hat due to a missing washer.
Can confirm this. I've had squeaking this summer and ended up being my top hat nut was loose. Tightened it down and it stopped. But now I'm befuddled because the bushing isn't being compressed.
