Even at $10 a gallon, gas may be the cheaper part of driving. I don't know. But everytime gas has been inflated, i kept driving what I had. Just cost too much to change. The new loan, the new payments, the new insurance, then new tags, etc etc etc. I did pay attention to how I used my foot though. Amazing how much gas is wasted by poor driving habits, not to mention brakes, tires and everything else.
So probably yes, I will keep driving what i have. that said an electric pickup with great range might be fun. No more oil changes, simply no maintainable parts. Just recycle it when it gets old. Oh wait, how do you recycle the batteries? Guess you can do that too. Maybe autonomous motorcycle before I'm too old to ride.
