LOL! I used to be a ricer! HAHAHA..... Anyhoo, a real cold air intake system generally extend your intake tube into the bumper or somewhere outside the engine compartment (preferably having the airfilter face down pointing to the ground) allowing to such cooler, less dense air into the engine when the vehicle is in motion. It supposedly be designed to decrease the temperature of the air entering your car to take full advantage of your engine
