I ordered 2 flip keys from CTH and what I did, I ordered 2G keys from amazon (
Amazon.com: Keyless2Go Keyless Entry Remote Car Key with G Chip for Select 4Runner Rav4 Yaris Models That Use HYQ12BBY, HYQ12BDC (2 Pack): Automotive ). I programed these keys with Techstream, removed the internals (chip and door remote) and moved into the flip keys.
This way I still have the keys that came with the truck and can always go back.
The flip key looks strong enough to work for years but I still have backups if need it.
