You could, I didn’t have to on mine when I swap rear coils. Lift the truck, put jack stands under the frame so the rear axle can go to full droop then jack up one side of the axle which drops the other side more. I was able to do this with no issues and no spring compressor. I don’t have the KDSS to deal with though.
