Would guess a bad sensor. Have a tire shop scan the sensors and make sure you don't need new ones. They are supposed to last 10 years, but depending on where you live you might get less than that.
We just replaced all 4 on my wifes RAV4, as two had dead batteries, one was too weak to transmit, and the 4th was OK. We live in Texas and the summer heat tends to cook batteries down here.
