The best option is to buy rocker or push/detent switches that fit as opposed[FIXED FOR BLAIRRACD] to hacking ones in that don't fit, you will notice the other switches are imbedded or counter sunk into the slot, nice and clean fit, some switches have a lip/trim that cover the hack job so it doesn't look terrible though, ideally you want the switch to fit the oe option and save yourself some work, should be a pretty common size for Toyota and most Japan vehicles. Not a big fan of all the trucker push switches that stick out past the mounting location that are available, they just look outta place sticking out like that. Looking again at it even if you did hack it out the hole will end up to large or the locking tabs on your switch won't engage to the modified counter sunk slot. I use to work in a heavy equipment shop that does dump box, crane and highway plow and tow plow installs and we use those type of "push" raised rocker switches because they where cheaper for custom dash and console control work and the industry standard for truckers, most are cheaply made and problematic, we did about 300 truck per year and had issues with low quality switches, mind you there where about 20 added to some installs, under bad conditions and heavy use.
