I have practically no body roll at all now. No KDSS. I have a close friend with KDSS. So I am very familiar with that. No need.

If the shocks you mention, by far the best front option is the 6112.

On 600lb springs, it handles great on road and offers a superb, plush ride. That combo is, however, light duty off-road. Too soft/bouncy.

On 650lb springs, it handles desert and rocks alike offroad but feels sporty on road. It does not handle better on road just feels sporty. On light weight tires, it may feel too stiff. On LT Tires, feels sporty but not too stiff.

So for me the 600lb is not even an option. In CO, it depends. The 650lb definitely is much better in anything beyond small rocks as it will keep the front above the rocks and not kissing the rocks every 3 yards. Ask me how I know.

The 6112 will be much better than Fox 2.0 or any other 2.0 front.

However, in the rear, I don't have a perfect answer for myself yet.

Eibach is not good enough for the 6112. Shorter down travel than Icon 2.0 by a full 1.25" . Not more comfy than Icon 2.0 either. And not quite as planted in corners.

Icon 2.0 offers superb interstate control and rock crawling performance. It does everything in the desert as well but the rear pax pay the price. And it won't last much in my use.

So I am going for rear reservoirs, choosing between Fox 2.0 with adjusters and 2.5 with adjusters.

Reservoirs will also prolong the life of the rear shocks.

If I could go back in time, I would have started like this:

Front Bilstein 6112 on 650 springs (no bumper, just skids, sliders)
Rear Fox 2.0 with resi and adjusters from Accutune Offroad.


As is, I am contemplating 2.5 rear as a springboard to a 2.5 Fox front down the road. But I do really like the performance and no-maintenance of the 6112 on 650lb springs so I have not yet decided. I fear the Fox 2.5 rear may be too capable for the 6112 front (the rear should not be more capable than the front).
