have both swapped in 5th gen axles with elocker. Look at both of their previous posts and especially TheHennDogggs build thread, I believe he got his rear end for $220 at an LKQ since pull your own rear axle is a flat rate. |

Any idea how idea how to find out if it is the 8.2? From what i read- pretty much all these 5th gen 4runners are 8.2 rear ends?
The donor 4runner is a 4x2[5th gen] and mine is a 4x4[4th gen]- any possible issues with gearing? I'm asking the guy for the VIN so hopefully i can confirm what gearing it has.
