I got a quote to paint the chrome parts, and it wasn't bad, like $650, but the guy warned me that even with a good sanding and primer coat the paint could bubble over time and I was out on that. I've decided to replace them if I can.
What's the time required for a fairly handy dude to remove the chrome crossbars and replace them... meaning how long did it take you?
