I have some tough lower parking garages to get into, so I want to just see if I can lower the rack profile a bit before I do. The funny part is that I had my rails from my SR5 forever as I put an after-market rack on there. I literally gave them away less than a year before I decided to pull the trigger on this TRD Pro. I agree with your assessment thought that it may be cheaper to buy another low profile roof rack versus trying to get your hands on an OEM rack for a decent price.

This rack reminds me so much of the OEM rack that came on my FJ. I just never really warmed up to it. But, I will maybe give it a chance to see if it grows on me. It just reminds of of the Nissan OEM racks though unfortunately. Kind of like why I sold my 2020 Land Rover Defender 110. Because it looks like a Kia Soul. LOL. Look it up, you will get a laugh out of it.
