One thing I used for the boat ramp on the cheap this past year is a simple tow hitch attachment Amazon.com: Nilight 2 PCS 4 Inch 60W Led Pods with 2.5 Inch Tow Hitch Mounting Brackets LED Backup Reverse Lights Rear Search Lighting Led Light Bar for Pickup ATV SUV Truck Trailer Boat: Automotive rock crawling, could be some issues with clearance, but 35 bucks and a switch and an hour of your time may be worth trying. I wired into a 5pt trailer harness using the Reverse wire as the feed.
