1995 3.0l V6 Manual engine swap

Hello, I recently found out that my 3vze has water leaks from the cylinder head and hot water control valve, I’m going to have to drive it until I can afford to swap the engine but I’m wondering what engines would be the easiest to have swapped. Easiest meaning the least cutting in the engine bay and preferably compatible with the stock 5-speed manual transmission. I believe the trans is the r150f. I was thinking an LS of some sort and if I’m going to do a swap I don’t want to make the same trash power I made before so something with more power and mod capability is preferred.
