I thought the injectors interchangeable ( pre 99 to after 99) as long as all 6 are replaced, I have some rebuilt ones sitting on my shelf that were for another project, the newere ones,, but no longer have that one....how come I would have to switch them ?
do motor mounts interchange, I thought you said one style was better than the other as far as vibration.. ( style or year type/style)

I'm not 100% sure if you can just mix and match injectors? I have always stuck to the rule = whatever year ECU you have = use those years injectors.
96-98 used brown, 99-02 used red/maroon

98 -> 02 are the newer style mounts, yes IMO the newer style seems to have less vibration from engine to body.
you can use either style, the rubber isolator's are different part numbers so just be careful when you replace them. your probably good since you past the 97 cutoff I would think.
