Goal Zero 500x interfering with factory radio scanning/seeking for new stations

I have a Goal Zero 400 and upgraded to a 500x. I took a trip this weekend with it for the first time and notice when turning on the 12v output on the 500x that I was not able to scan for radio stations anymore. And depending on how strong the signal was on the station I was on it would turn to static. I never had this issue on the Goal Zero 400 AGM model. Has anyone had this issue before? I just have the stock head unit. The Goal Zero was not connected to the 4runner in any other means.. I had a passenger turn the port on and tried to seek and it would not find anything. Then turned it off and it was finding stations as normal.
