When the bike was on it, it was impossible. With the Ultraswing, it's so simple to swing the bike and rack out of the way making it much easier to access the hatch. I can now actually sit on the rear bumper to change into my bike shoes, etc. Makes putting big items in it much easier as well. It may sound minor, but I cannot tell you how much more convenient it is now as I ride several times a week. I also upgraded to 285/70 tires and it's nice to have the spare mounted on the Ultraswing. Love the table also. Also know that their customer service is excellent. I had a minor issue with how my bike rack fit and they were very responsive by providing a part to address the issue. The only issue is you do have to pay attention to the position of the handle as you open and close the rear hatch, etc. Would highly recommend if you can swing it! (Pun intended).

How did you like how your bike rack mounted to the ultra swing ? Did you use the Wobnoy ? I read in the reviews that one person said it still wobbles ?
