As @ahtoxa11 said, front to back. I believe that 20 inch spare rotation was shown because the Limited spare is a matching alloy wheel. The other trims have steel spares.

I saw a post where someone did a cost analysis of buying 5 new tires instead of 4, and doing a 5 wheel rotation pattern. After considering the extended tire mileage of 5 and the replacement costs of 4 vs 5, the total cost was almost the same.

And I think the assumption was that you already had a matching alloy wheel for the spare. If not, there’s another expense against going to 5 wheel rotation. Then if you decide to change tire brands or sizes...
