I made brackets for my 93 extra cab pick up using the same calipers. Like so many other folks, I never got around to working out a solution to the parking brake cable. Thanks for doing the brain work on that.
If I remember correctly the calipers from the Mustang GT could be used, but the bracket has to be from the cobra Mustang to accommodate the width of the Toyota rotor. I ended up using regular mustang calipers and buying the Cobra brackets from AutoZone. And again I’m relying on memory about something I did almost 10 years ago.
I still have my drawings and patterns for making the brackets. They would need some slight alteration to work with my current Toyota which is a third GEN 4runner, however, it takes a lot of effort to
one off a pair of brackets. I think I prefer buying them ready to go his time, along with that slick p-brake setup.
