A pneumatic air hammer with extended bits will help you greatly. To install the headers, you will need to separate the steering shaft anyway. The hammer just helps for adjusting when it's all back together.
Also, friendly tip, remove both motor mounts. I'm able to install headers in about an hour total by doing that.
