You dont need a lift. Go to wally world, buy the parts, tools and oil, and catch pan, pack of disposable gloves. Go to a far corner of the parking lot and do it there, or at your hotel. Drop the used oil off at any oil change place, firestone, goodyear service station. Then be on your way.
Keep the tools in the truck for next time. Done right and done cheap.
My suggestion. Use full synthetic oil in the future. It doesnt breakdown like conventional oil. In a pinch, like on a long vacation, all you would need to do is replace the oil filter to keep the oil clean.
