Understanding that the comp itself is going to generate a lot of heat when active I think the basic location of the bracket itself puts the unit in a place that's already kicking out a lot of engine heat, especially after hitting the trail.
Just wanted to give you a heads up that once you get it in there, I would suggest an ARB remote hose coupling kit like this:

My arb orange hose overheated and burst due to the heat when it was connected directly to the comp. Since relocating the hose output (with a 3' braided cable to the new hose coupling) I've had no issues.

I've had no problems with heat. The ARB hoses are junk though. I ditched mine and bought a flexzilla. Much higher quality.
