I don't know if there is any advantage of having the 68 over the 64, or vice versa, but what I can tell you is that I've had amazing results with my 68. I wish I had a way to read my trans temps before installing the cooler, but I didn't. I do now, and with the cooler installed my ATF temps run from 150-170 with regular driving. Highway speeds and inclines cause temps to fluctuate differently but nothing terribly high. On extreme hot days and hard driving/4WD, I've seen temps to 200 but not much higher than that.
