so researching this head gasket issue......is this engine an interfence engine....meaining valves can hit pistons....the 3rd gen was not.
reason I ask is in another thread on this forum someone said if doing the headgaskets then do the chain too, as if it gets too loose or skips then the valves can hit t he pistons and total the engine
I also read that the block is aluminum and cant be rebuilt....again on this forum
