Angry How do I fix this audio issue (amp ripped out)?

I know absolutely nothing about audio or wiring or car amps so I need the wisdom of the group here (although I realize this is a complete longshot with just photos). The prior owner appears to have ripped his amp and sub out of my 2002, and by that I mean he tore it out like an ape. It's a mess of RCA plugs and exposed power wires that I had to tape off myself after I took these photos.

At this point, the system plays zip, zilch, nada. No sound at all. But I think it works?

I'm wondering what the cheapest option would be here? I called some local audio shops and they offered to inspect everything in the system for $50... but that didn't include hooking an amp up. So they want me to throw my money away. The best they could offer is the cheapest amp they sell ($199) and two hours of labor ($200) which is ridiculous considering I'm going to upgrade the entire system in a couple of years. I would do it now but I recently bought the rig and my remaining liquidity will be used up by some other more pressing items to take care of.

Can anyone glean any information from these photos? I would love to be able to buy a cheap $50 amp off CL and just hook it up so it all works, quality be damned.

My hope is I could buy one that works for cheap and then just pay an audio shop to hook it up (if I can't figure it out myself).

Ideas?
