Thanks for that spot and picture. I did not know we can attach pictures LOL.
But, yeah, that's exactly the point. I like to tell my wife that I17 north of Phoenix is more dangerous (the downhill section) than the Black Bear Pass. She always seems to think that I am joking.
I am not. It is just that the new things and experiences have their way of messing with the human mind. The one thing that scares me every time is interstate traffic that moves between 60-stop-80-stop-60. But because people are familiar with that, it is considered "normal" while driving a bigger rock or the like is considered "scary" and it thus prompts people to do, well, truly scary things.
This is why driving stuff like the Black Bear should be done with a solid grasp of fundamentals and some experience.
