What to do without being to install a supercharger ??
I’m at a bit of a crossroads ….. I love my AG trd pro…….. at sea level. This October will be 2 years of ownership and I’ve put almost 19k miles on it.
The issue is that since moving to nearly 7k feet above sea level and going down to Phoenix often on weekends, the drive back up to the mountains just sucks.
Between the gear hunting and just absolute lack of power in passing others on 2 lane roads while climbing, along with that awful drone of the stock exhaust, I’m not sure what else to do.
I had grand plans to put in the magnusson SC and swap out the exhaust and do a 1” lift, which I thought would have been perfect — until I realized there is still no magnusson SC.
I’m starting to think there won’t be one coming out any time soon — presumably because of the challenges developing one that can integrate with the new safety features ??
Any suggestions on what to do to augment power? The pedal commander and sprint booster simply improve throttle response, correct? I’m not sure how valuable that alone will be.
I don’t want to get rid of this vehicle but I’m looking hard at the wrangler rubicon 392 to have a big V8 with tons of torque.
Not to mention it will be more fun ….
