This seems like a no brainer to me. If you can afford the wrangler rubicon 392, do it.
Does it have the legendary reliability of the 4runner, no. Is it brand new and under warranty and are Wrangler's generally reliable relative to everything else? Yes!
Just as good, arguably better Off Road. Not as good on road stability, but you'll be too busy passing everyone to worry about that.
Lastly, while no one can say for sure, the rubicon 392 likely won't last long and due the relative 'rarity' and strong desirability on a model that already has low depreciation it should retain its value better than a 4runner.
