The roads must not be as steep as the interstate 17 to flagstaff AZ. I put the shifter in 4th but it has to go to 3rd to keep any speed. The speed limit is 70 or 75 and a lot of people are going 80. The 4runner does not have a chance. You just try to stay out of the way.
