Whatever the case, I would venture that what you're seeing is oxidation from the hot Texas sun. I'd try a headlight restoration kit on it first. Make sure to apply some sort of UV resistant coating after polishing though.

No crashes. I believe that lightbulb WAS replaced, but it wasn't me. Maybe I'll replace the bulbs on both sides again and replace the assembly on the driver's side. I don't know that it'll buff out...and honestly the $100 to replace it is easier...I'm made of money after all lol
Just wanted to make sure it wasn't a fire hazard!
