I agree with that! And I can also add that in my case it comes from my personal experience, as I had 2nd, 3rd and 4th gen before my current 5th gen Trail.
I never had 1st gen... and I know they were \are great truck\SUV, but I also believe it is hard to compare them with 5th gen and especially 10-13 Trail.
