So I did. Over the 10 mile track (10+10 back), where I had to go slow previously due to Eibach rears (and not knowing it would be this kind of terrain), I was able to go really well, speeds 2.5X what I did back then with the Eibachs rear. I am not saying the Eibach could have literally not made it but I feared them leaking afterwards as I lost the 2.0 Icons on a far lesser terrain.
The 8100s were at 90% towards softest on compression as 70% towards stiffest on rebound, as I had not changed anything since Colorado. The 6112s did very well on this course, bottoming out only once. This is thanks to the stiffer springs, otherwise forget these speeds.
It was also the first time I was able to get the front hot and the 8100s got hot as well (doing a lot more work on the solid axle). The reason this is interesting is that previously I could get small shocks in the rear hot in no time but never the 6112s.
What I currently have is a very capable and relatively cost efficient setup for anyone who cares how the rear is doing
The course in question is UTV/ATV land. This time we were the only vehicle on the 20 miles and the previous time it was us and a couple other Toyotas.
Not a place you want to be in a Wrangler on anything less than 8100s, that's for sure! It is not a challenging course for anything other than the suspension but it will beat down a lesser suspension quickly, especially on solid axles.
So, yeah, very happy.
