I saw my first Outback Wilderness actually yesterday. It looked pretty good, until the 70 year old guy that looked like he just got off the Appalachian trail got out. Such a dad car. My father in-law is ultimate dad too with the white New Balances and everything. Guess what he drives
an Outback.
We test drove an Ascent when we were shopping for the family hauler for my wife. Loved the car, but man that CVT is tough to like (any CVT really) and all those flashing safety lights, sensors and sounds. I test drove one in the day and loved it. We went back and drove another at night and it was so annoying. I'm an analog person and just like hitting a button instead of a touch screen. Huge reason I love the 4Runner.
