pointed out, the hood latch support bar is in the way. With the S8, you can adjust it enough that the hood latch is ok and the light bar can be aimed, but you have to loosen the hood latch bar a bunch, aim the light, then adjust the hood latch bar afterwards. Even after that, there is contact and rubbing - you can see that in the first picture below if you look hard enough.
Given the ONX6+ is an inch higher, you couldn't just dremel - you'd have to see if you could fasten up a different support bar that bent around the light bar.
2) Similar problem in the rear. There is about 1/2 an inch between the end of the S8 and the piece the hood latch support bolts into. The ONX6+ is over 1.5 inches longer. I don't know how you would handle that. Major cutting involved.
3) The front opening w/o cutting is about 2.5 inches. The ONX6+ is 2.75. So you have two challenges there. First, you'd need to cut out the grille the length of the bar or have obstruction, and second, you'd need to makes sure you could fashion mounts that could center the bar vertically in the space (the mounts that you can get from places like SDHQ are sized for the thinner S8.

's worked because (1) by mounting lights to the side you don't have the constraint of the hood latch support in the way and (2) he cut space for the lights (and did a very nice job).
I'm sure it could be done - this forum proves that creative people can solve almost any problem - it's just a matter of effort and how you want the completed project to look.
ALL THAT SAID, if you went with 2 10" as opposed to 1 20", you could skip the hassle with the hood latch bar. You'd have to make some mounts and do a bit of drilling (the 20" bar uses some existing holes so there's no drilling) figure out if you are cutting the grille.
