I think a lot of you are overthinking this whole supercharger modification. We’re not build 1/4 mile or time attack engines here. Doubt there’s a chance you’ll ever starve the engine of fuel and cause an issue. To be fair a normal running engine is always knocking. That’s why it was once called vacuum advance timing and now it’s ECM controlled. During normal driving the ECM is constantly advancing timing until it starts knocking and then it’ll retard the timing, then it’ll do it again as soon as you start moving again.
