Guys, would appreciate a little advice.
I decided to replace the flexi-hoses while I was at it.
The nut that joins the metal brake pipe to the flexi-hose is very, very tight. I am using a flared 10mm spanner, and have applied as much force as I dare to it.
I have applied heat to it and squirted with PB Blaster to see if that will help. It is getting dark here now so I have left it for today. Hopefully that will soak in overnight.
They're not reverse threaded or something are they?
If I cannot get it un-done, what is the next step? Replace the metal brake pipe?
Thanks!
