1998 sr5 frame swap + possible maintenance/build thread

Sorry for a late reply. I haven’t been on here in months.

I also used a 2wd frame. Moving the cross member is a lot easier than I thought it’d be. I used a grinder to cut the welds from the frame and moved it accordingly.

Having a car lift is a huge plus. I don’t know how I would’ve done it with out one. It’s been a while since I did this so it’s possible that I forget something. I started out with the undoing the body mounts and then moving to the engine bay. There you have the throttle cables, fuel lines, brake lines and a few wire connectors and radiator hoses. Honestly the best thing to do is to disconnect the obvious things that you see are separate from the body and then just very gently lifting the body and watching for anything else that need to be removed/disconnected. Having another set of eyes is a huge plus.
