Slightly tilts the seat backwards, gives it more of a bucket feel compared to the super flat stock setup. It can help take some weight off of the thigh by the back of the knee during long drives (supposedly), so I'm curious to see if I end up sticking with them.
They also sell a set for the back of the seat, so you can get a straight seat lift for short people.
My CTH T10 head unit arrived last week, and I finally got it installed. It takes a *lot* of tweaking to get it set and running how you want it, but having CarPlay working on that 9" screen is glorious. I love that it feels stock and has actual knobs to turn.
I also swapped out my cup holder phone mount for one with a Qi charger in it, so I no longer need to worry about plugging my phone in to connect for music or power. Though I do think I'm going to swap out the cigarette lighter with a built in QC3 USB port to get rid of the adapter.
It took a couple months for all the parts to come in, but I finally got everything I needed to install the new front bumper.
I chose the Victory4x4 Blitz bumper, with an amber Baja S8 light bar and a Smittybuilt X2O 10k winch. I wasn't keen on a full sized bumper, just something to protect the nose and mount a winch.
I took advantage of having the bumper cover off and applied some Lamin-X fog light film on either side, and I was quite pleased to see that it matches the color of the S8.
I still have the front skid to install, but that will likely need to wait until next weekend.
Finally got around to wiring up the winch and light bar in the new bumper.
For the winch, I installed a Blue Sea battery isolator rated at 300a continuous, 500a for 5 minutes and up to 900a for 30 seconds. I had to re-terminate the positive cable coming off the winch to connect to the 3/8" isolator poles. The isolator is mounted on an Overland Equipped tray I was originally going to use for an Auxbeam relay board. There's also a Rago Fab relay bar holding the relay for the light bar.
The light bar is using the BD harness and relay, but I've replaced the switches with an OEM style dual button switch on the dash. At the same time, I relocated the inverter switch next to the dimmer wheel. It works great, as the upper "LED Light Bar" button turns on the light bar, while the lower "Driving Lights" button enables the back-light feature.
