So, good news and bad news, despite that wreck, the 4runner somehow isn't totaled. the insurance is covering the ~4700$ repair. I went out and bought all the parts I needed for about 800 which I don't mind spending as it still runs. I don't expect to get it back anytime soon, but it's nice to know that I will get it back.
I was planning to pay out of pocket and ditch insurance if they didn't cover it. The only mechanical thing on the front end that needed to be replaced was the radiator; despite the impact it didn't push into anything behind it.
I really owe a lot to this 4runner, I was going 50mph and didn't sustain any injuries, cuts or even bruises.
A list of everything I needed (score for $800 total):
Fenders (L/R)
Headlight filler panels (L/R)
Hood
Headlights
01 Front bumper w/turn signals (fat lip which is sad)
Grille off an 02
Drivers airbag from a 97
Passenger airbag from a 96
new dashboard with panel
kick panel
fuse box cover
radiator
front radiator support
coolant reservoir
