While any system will have a chance of breaking, I have never heard it's "prone to fail". The XRAES suspension is supposedly more likely to develop problems than KDSS. KDSS has been around for years, and there is a lot of info available on it. I find it makes cornering
much better than the SR5 we test drove. Can you achieve the same thing on a non-KDSS SR5 with aftermarket springs? I don't know.
