thank you so much for your input. I never thought of the idea of just switching the EPROM (Chips that contain the Immobilizer codes) from the auto ECU to the manual ECU. that seems 1000% easier than trying to re-program and possibly turning the insanely rare Manual ECU into a brick. I found a DIY on reprogramming that was so complex sounding, i wanted to part of that
I am good with a wrench, not so much with a soldering iron.
I am taking a break from the project for a little while, I just lost interest. I will come back to it in a few weeks and get going on it again.
