My only complaint with the IMS shock, the model specifically for 3rd gens, is that it's travel it's just barely longer than stock which seems a little silly... Although I was willing to try it just because I'm so sick of how kings ride.
I mean maybe it doesn't matter... I was basically going for what some of the guys called the mid travel setup. And that's basically what I'm rocking now, it just rides like crap lol

Looseness when flexing is a problem, but the bigger problem is bottoming out on the shock travel because you don’t have your bump stops long enough. I would flex it out and take some measurements on the tucked side to make sure you don’t need to extend your bump stops. Also take some measurements at ride height to determine how much up travel vs down travel you have. You ideally want to be close to midway between the two.
