Could be the oil filter itself leaking (well, the gasket).
One of the other nice things about the OEM filter is that they use a real o-ring instead of a cut square gasket. They are less likely to leak, even with lower installation torque... oh, and the gasket comes pre-lubed. I have moved back to the "D3" filter after years of using PureONE filters on multiple Toyotas. Just buy in bulk!
