OEM oil filter efficiency
I recently had someone tell me that the D1 filter, and all Toyota filters in general are only 50% efficient.
I’ve been running the D1 filter for 10 plus years and never had an issue.
Lately I’ve been running the D1 filter and Supertech 10k 5w30 and doing oil and filter every 4 months according to the service manual. I do this because I have a short commute to work and I’m only doing 6-7k a year.
So, has anyone ever heard, or knows the efficiency of the Toyota filters?
Thanks
