Timely post. My 2016 has the original battery and I'm about to roll over 70k miles. My 4Runner is garage kept which I think helps. That said, my wife's MINI battery lasted only 4 or 5 years also being garage kept. I think the start stop tech was pretty hard on batteries, though.
