Wow. I may have the best trick ever. I don't know where I saw this but i'll take credit if I have to.
Just go to walmart and buy a couple of the clothes hanger car rods. Hang one on the front hooks and one on the back hooks. I've been doing it this way for years and up to 9ft flyrods.
